Google’s Appreciative Deed

Google has decided to help journalism and fight against fake news. Google’s plans are helping news organizations like New York Times, Washington Post and many more by planning to strengthen the quality of news information. The company will spend $392 million for three years in projects that will assist with their main plan. All this is a repercussion of criticism on how Google and some social media source’s allowed false information to spread. They have launched Disinfo Lab, which will use computational tools and journalistic edit to supervise misinformation during searching. They also commenced MediaWise, a project that will help news readers to differentiate fact from fiction when online. These projects and Google’s intention is helping journalism and news readers, this is a goodbye to suspicious researching, and a hello to impactful story telling.
